Hep Free India

HepFree India is an initiative of Kalavati Rajnikant Kanakia (KRK) Foundation. The overall objective of the initiative is to engage members of the general population through different avenues to increase awareness about Chronic Hepatitis B & C and to encourage active participation in the prevention, diagnosis, transmission and treatment of Chronic Viral Hepatitis.

KRK Foundation is a non-profit organization registered under the provisions of the Bombay Public Trust Act, 1950. Founded in 2009, KRK Foundation has been working towards improving the healthcare scenario of India. KRK Foundation aims at achieving its goals through three core areas:

• Awareness
• Patient Care
• Capacity Building

The Run-up To 100,000

    The first phase of HFI envisages 1,00,000 members of the general population screened. In line with the strategy undertaken to cover 1,00,000 members.
